ENDURANCE INJECTION

Classification: Recovery

Indications:

  • The Endurance injection is composed of our amino blend, B12 and L-arginine.  It’s designed for all around fitness and recovery with ingredients to promote energy and weight loss as well as build lean muscle mass.

Mechanism of Action / Benefits:

  • L-arginine is involved in various functions in the body including wound healing, helping kidneys remove waste products from the body as well as maintaining immune and hormone function. In the body, L-arginine is converted into nitric oxide (NO) which is a powerful neurotransmitter that helps blood vessels relax and improves circulation. This may be beneficial for those with coronary artery disease, high blood pressure and even erectile dysfunction as well.
  • B-complex:
    • Thiamine (B1): A low-thiamine diet or deficiency reduces exercise capacity and generates more lactic acid in the blood, thus leading to sub-optimal ATP (cellular energy) production. Lactic acid is a byproduct of muscle metabolism and can irritate muscles and lead to soreness associated with exercise.
    • Riboflavin (B2): Exercising individuals need ~30% more riboflavin than non-exercising individuals, or they may have impaired athletic performance.
    • Niacin (B3): Enhances blood flow and growth hormone thus aiding in anaerobic performance our bodies undergo under strenuous exercise.
    • Pantothenic Acid (B5): Exercise acutely depletes pantothenic acid; high dose supplementation reduces lactate production and improves oxygen consumption.
    • Pyridoxine (B6): Plays a vital role in hemoglobin synthesis, and at higher doses may increase the oxygen carrying capacity, which is crucial for endurance.
    • Biotin (B7): Deficiency may negatively impact energy metabolism and glycogen synthesis
    • Folate (B9): Involved in red blood cell formation, so it is critical for endurance as our red blood cells carry oxygen via hemoglobin.
    • Cobalamin (B12): Supplementing B12 has been shown to dramatically improve exercise performance and studies show up to 33% of athletes are deficient.

Potential Side Effects:

  • Light-headedness / dizziness
